The first concert of the year, the last concert video for the 'Summer of '22' collection. This has been an amazing experiment for me and I think I'll keep doing it. Until Carson gets tired of me 😂. Can't wait for the first concert of 2023!
I told you to expect more of these in the future. I'm having way too much fun with this punk editing style. I didn't capture everyone in the lineup (sadly). I was having fun. Shout out to Bash and Don for coming with me.
Does anyone remember those commercials from the early 2000s that were like "TaKe HoMe ThE mAgIc Of BlAh BlAh BlAh NoW oN dVd!"? I was thinking about them the other day and thought, "Eh. I think I can do that"'. Therefore, I present.......this.
I graduated into the pandemic, got rejected from several film internships and opportunities, and was stuck juggling online college with my horrible part-time job. The only thing that kept me going was comedian Lenny Bruce's autobiography, 'How to Talk Dirty and Influence People'. So when given the task to make a short film about whatever I wanted, I had to choose him.
Mere weeks into the pandemic, no one was okay. We needed each other but the closest we could be was 6 feet! No, that wouldn't work. But hope was not lost. For one man would save us all! A brave soul named Clayton would inspire us all to keep going and not give up. Where would we have been without that man........made of clay............
Assignment: Demonstrate every type of shot and camera angle, 10 seconds each. Then, edit them together with transitions between each. I took it a step further and made a story out of it.
A public service announcement for Dutchess County's 2020 "Be Tick Free!" Media Contest. This video's purpose is to inform people of the steps necessary to protect themselves against ticks. (Won Honorable Mention in the contest).
A group project where we had 10 days to write, shoot and edit a 3-minute short, featuring all required elements:

BACKSTORY: Recently returned from a hospital stay
PROP: Fortune cookie
LINE: "Now look at what you have (you've) done"
